This is quite unashamedly a brag post. I've been a bit distracted lately by a little project, which needed to be finished for last Sunday. The quilt pictured was made (by me) for a lovely young couple I know who celebrated their nuptials on Sunday. It went through a couple of design changes early on, but I was pleased with the final result, so I thought I'd share it with you.

OMG that is gorgeous! Beautiful, really beautiful!
That is beautiful naturewitch, truly. I so envy people that can create these beautiful works of art. I am sure it will be much cherished.....
I'm with Cheryl, wish I could sew like that, it's absolutely stunning, well done!
Blessings:)
That is such a thoughtful generous gift and it looks superb.
Thanks for your comments, everyone, most appreciated :)
My sister told me about making raggy quilts and they sound really easy. Maybe when this week is over, I can start that, do photos ands a post on how to make them.
xx
It's beautiful and I'm sure they will treasure it for a long time! Nice work :)
My husband's great aunt and her husband made us an 'Emperor' sized quilt for our wedding gift - it is beautiful and is the one of the first items that gets bundled into the car every bushfire scare we have as we so very much appreciate the massive amount of time and effort that went into it. Your gift will no doubt bring up the same feelings for your friends.
Good for you.
It's wonderful! Rag/ragged quilts is about as far as my patience level goes (especially since I don't have a sewing machine).
